ELLICOTT, COLO. -- At least two men have come forward, saying they had sex with the Ellicott School Board member accused of sexually assaulting one boy and "sexting" another.
According to court documents and El Paso County Sheriff's deputies, two men who were students in the Ellicott School District back in 2008 admitted having sex with 37-year-old Stefanie Dickinson.
One of the men, who is now 20, was 17 in the summer of 2008 when he had sex with Dickinson multiple times. As a boy, he allegedly babysat Dickinson's two children and would spend the night at her house.
The man said he and Dickinson would go to a "clubhouse" on the property and have sex after her husband fell asleep. The two exchanged sexually-explicit text messages prior to having sex for the first time, and Dickinson told him not to tell anyone for fear of losing her family.
The man said he thought of Dickinson like a mother and trusted her at the time but now said he thinks she took advantage of him and the situation.
Another man, who was 18 at the time, also admitted to having sex with Dickinson in the spring of 2008. He told deputies he thought Dickinson would have sex with a 15-year-old if she could, stating he thought she was looking for attention and got it from young boys.
Dickinson was arrested Sept. 19 for allegedly sending sexually-explicit text messages to a 14-year-old boy. She resigned from the school board later that week.
She was rearrested for sexual assault by one in a position of trust in the case of the 17-year-old on Oct. 19.
Dickinson is in jail on a $25,000 bond. Deputies have not said if there are any other victims.
