COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The pursuit of a stolen vehicle led to a crash early Tuesday morning.

Colorado Springs Police officers were pursuing what was reported as a stolen vehicle just before 3:30 a.m. Tuesday when the vehicle, trying to evade an officer, turned onto eastbound Bijou Street towards Academy Boulevard.

Officers had their lights and sirens on, but the suspect failed to stop for authorities.

Officers said the suspect's car ran through the intersection and sped up quickly, and the driver to lose control.

The car crashed just east of the intersection and rolled once, coming to rest on its top.

One suspect fled the scene but was quickly caught  nearby, another suspect was detained at the vehicle.

Neither party were seriously injured, and officials said arrests are pending further investigation.
