LAMAR, COLO. -- A traffic stop lead to the bust of two suspects on drug charges Tuesday.

Lamar Police officers pulled over a vehicle on a traffic stop.

Officers said the vehicle had been observed at a narcotic dealer's residence, and upon investigation they found 24-year-old Jorge Garcia was in possession of prescription pills.

The pills had been packaged in a manner that was consistent with intent to distribute.

An investigation then lead police to 41-year-old Ruben Hernandez Jr., who was arrested for the distribution of a controlled substance.

Both are being held in the Prowers County Jail.
