DENVER (AP) -- After spurning the 1976 Winter Olympics, Colorado is once again considering a bid for the international games.

Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper and Denver Mayor Michael Hancock are discussing ways to bring the Games to the Mile High City in 2022.

According to the Denver Post, a decision by the U.S. Olympic Committee to pull out of bidding for future Games over a revenue-sharing dispute could derail Colorado's plans.

The USOC would have to submit the country's bid to the International Olympic Committee by 2013 and a decision will be made in 2015.
