COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A verbal disturbance turns frightening at one Colorado Springs apartment complex Monday evening.

Colorado Springs Police officers were sent to the 1800 block of Monterey Drive after someone reported shots being fired in the area.

When police arrived at the El Vecino apartment complex they discovered a suspect had fired three rounds at people on a balcony after a verbal confrontation.

The investigation is ongoing, and so far no arrests have been made.
