ASPEN, Colo. (AP) -- Republican House Speaker John Boehner will be in Aspen for a fundraiser for Colorado U.S. Rep. Scott Tipton.

Boehner is headlining the fundraiser for the freshman Republican congressman Saturday.

The Denver Post reports Tipton was among the worst Republican fundraisers in the House for the quarter that ended June 30.

His Democratic challenger Sal Pace raised more than $100,000 in a month after announcing his candidacy in late May.
