The trio has been held in neighboring Pueblo County, but prosecutors have said that they want the case tried in Huerfano County where the three allegedly tried to kill police officers.

A nationwide manhunt for the Dougherty's ended after a high speed chase and shoot-out on I-25.

Authorities said that the trio robbed a bank in Georgia and shot at police in Florida.

They are also suspects in two car thefts in Utah.
