COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers have announced they will conduct a DUI checkpoint in the city Friday night.

Officers said the sobriety checkpoint is part of the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) Checkpoint Colorado Campaign, more commonly known as The 100 days of Heat.

All drivers will be briefly stopped so officers can determine if they are driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
