CASTLE ROCK, COLO. -- An arrest affidavit detailing the sexual assault allegations against Broncos cornerback Perrish Cox will be released some time next week.

Wednesday a district court judge sided with the Associated Press and the Denver Post, who had argued for the documents release.

The judge ruled that neither prosecutors, nor the defense presented sufficient evidence that the affidavit's release would jeopardize Cox's right to a fair trial.

Cox is charged with one count of sexual assault while the victim was physically helpless, and one count of sexual assault while the victim was incapable of determining the nature of the conduct.

Cox has pled not guilty to those charges.
