The Colorado State Patrol is investigating a single vehicle crash that left one woman with serious injuries.

The crash happened around 12:45 p.m. Sunday about 25 miles west of Canon City on Colorado 50.

A pickup truck was traveling eastbound when it suddenly ran off the road and collided with the cliff face.

The driver, 29-year-old Holli Raymer of Canon City, was seriously injured in the crash and flown to a Colorado Springs hospital.

Alcohol is suspected to be a contributing factor in the crash.
