COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Cisco (#0932380), an adorable 5-year-old Schnauzer, is looking for a best friend.

Erica Meyer from the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR) featured Cisco as the "Pet of the Week" on FOX21 Morning News.

"Cisco is a very sweet canine," says Meyer. "He enjoys being petted all over and getting lots of love."

Cisco likes walks and doing a few tricks for treats.

He is ready for adoption right now.

In addition to promoting animal adoptions, Meyer is also encouraging pet owners to make sure their animals are up to date on all their vaccinations.

"Due to several skunks testing positive for Rabies in Pueblo, Pueblo Animal Services is offering a low-cost Rabies Vaccination Clinic," says Meyer.

It will take place on be Saturday, May 14th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Rabies vaccinations are just $8 and all other vaccinations will be offered for just $10 each.

"Vaccinating your pet is the best way to keep them and your family safe," says Meyer.
