But how do you choose the right one for your family?

Natalie Cummings, Childcare Coordinator with the YMCA, offers this checklist for parents:

* Are you comfortable with the child/counselor ratio?

* Does the camp offer activities your child will want to participate in (i.e.: swimming, field trips, weekly themes, outdoor activities)?

* Do the camp hours work with your schedule?

* Are you aware of policies and procedures?

* Make sure you ask questions before making your decision.
