COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Firefighters are still working on hot spots from a two-alarm grass fire that broke out around 5:30 a.m. Friday at Garden of the Gods Road and 30th Street near the Navigator Building in Colorado Springs.
Fire officials said the fire covered about one and a half acres
30th Street had been shut down in both directions, but has since reopened.
Colorado Springs Utilities is checking any power poles that may have fire damage.
Officials are still investigating how the fire started.
