Fire out at Research and Scarborough

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs firefighters have put out a grass fire at Research Parkway and Scarborough Drive.

The fire was first reported around 11:30 p.m. Monday.

According to fire officials, two brush trucks and three engines worked to contain the fire.

No homes were threatened and no injuries are reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
