MEET THE AUTHORS
The Old Colorado City Historical Society Bookstore invites you to a free "Writer's Rave", 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday. Feb. 26 at the museum, 1 S. 24th St.
"It's a chance to meet and hear more than 20 of Colorado Springs' local authors," says DuVal. "Writers will talk about their books, what motivates them to write and the steps it took to have their books published".
Topics will include children's literature, history, photography, antiques, geology and spirituality.

CELEBRATE PANCAKE DAY

March 1 is National Pancake Day and IHOP is offering a free short stack of pancakes to every customer, all day, on request (one per customer).
In return, they ask that you make a donation, if you can, to the Children's Miracle Health Network Hospitals.
Last year, they raised more than $2 million for the charity.
