DENVER, COLO. (AP) -- Colorado Rockies manager Jim Tracy is hospitalized in Florida after he collapsed early Tuesday morning while attending the winter meetings.
The Rockies website indicates Tracy went down near a set of elevators at the Disney World Swan and Dolphin resort at Orlando, Fla., and was taken to a local hospital.
The 55-year-old skipper was conscious and responsive when responders were attending to him and stood with assistance.
After several minutes of being examined, he was taken from the hotel on a stretcher.
No other details were released.
