PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, COLO. (AP) -- A general assigned to the Air Force Space Command in Colorado is moving to a new post in Japan.

Brig. Gen. John W. Raymond will become vice commander of the 5th Air Force and deputy commander of the 13th Air Force at Yokota Air Base.

Raymond has been director of plans, programs and analyses for the Space Command headquarters at Peterson Air Force Base.

The change was announced last week.
