Holiday fun on a budget

1) The Hungry Farmer Musician's Reunion

What started out in 1979 as a good idea as a refuge for local musicians to gather for a Thanksgiving Eve meal and a little jam session has never died.
The annual tradition of this free flowing jam session has lived on well beyond the lifespan of the venue that originally was its home.
The Hungry Farmer Musician’s Reunion is now ready to celebrate its 31st year together with a special night of music at Stargazers Theatre and Event Center on Thanksgiving Eve.
2) Broadmoor Tree Lighting Ceremony
Saturday, Nov. 27
Broadmoor West
Free
The public is invited attend this annual event, which involves the lighting of 250,000 strands of lights, and to ring in the holiday season with music, merriment and some very special guests.
This event is free, but donations will be accepted for the American Cancer Society of the Pikes Peak Region.
Portion of garage parking proceeds go to ACS.
Music begins at 4:30 p.m. and the lights go on at 6 p.m.
