COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The city of Colorado Springs began installing the red light cameras Tuesday at the intersection of Murray Boulevard and Platte Avenue.

The cameras will take pictures at intersections of people running red lights. The other intersections under construction are Nevada Avenue at Bijou Street, Barnes Road at Oro Blanco and Platte Avenue at Circle Drive.

The city expects construction to wrap up in mid-September.
