Shooting victim in stable condition

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Update:
A Colorado Springs man is recovering from gunshot wounds Tuesday morning as police search for suspects in the shooting.
Just after 8:00 Monday night officers were called to the Pine Creek Apartments off Chapman Drive.
Police say it appears the 36 year old victim was intoxicated and arguing with the suspect.
The victim's daughter tells investigators she saw the suspect shoot her father multiple times with a black handgun.
Police say the victim was driven to the hospital in his own vehicle while officers began searching for multiple suspects based on conflicting witness accounts.
Police contained the area, but the suspects were never found.
The victim underwent surgery at Memorial Hospital and is said to be in stable condition.

Police are at the scene of an apparent shooting on Chapman Drive, which is near Airport Road and Academy Boulevard.
Police say that one male was shot multiple times.
They say at this time his condition is unknown.
Police are still looking for a suspect.
Witnesses tell FOX21 News that the victim was placed into a car by a male and female after being shot and then drove off.
