DURANGO, Colo. (AP) — La Plata County commissioners have voted to impose a six-month moratorium on the development of land for medical marijuana dispensaries and grow houses.
The unanimous vote came Tuesday. The break gives commissioners time to try to regulate the industry.
State legislators also are considering statewide rules on medical marijuana.
The county plans to hold a work session on the topic in early April.
