COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A woman opened her door to a knock just before 11 p.m. Thursday at her apartment and a man with a gun pushed his way in.

The incident happened at 4350 E. Pikes Peak Ave., Apt. 113. The woman lived there with her 2-year-old son.

The suspect threatened to shoot the victim unless she gave him cash. He left on foot before police arrived.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-twenties, 5 feet 9 inches tall, muscular build, wearing all black clothing, with a dark-colored ski mask covering his face, and red-and-black-colored Jordan shoes.
