COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- * Hundreds of University of Colorado-Colorado Springs (UCCS) students graduate today. Winter commencement starts at 2 p.m. The university expects around 400 of the 714 graduating students to participate with their families cheering them on. The commencement address will be given by Evelyn Hernandez Sullivan, a member of the UCCS class of 1986 and a magistrate in the 4th Judicial District.
* The public has another chance to get a free H1N1 flu shot today. The vaccination clinic is at The Citadel shopping mall on the second floor next to JCPenney from 2 to 5 p.m. while supplies last. For more information on today's clinic and future clinics log on to www.elpasocountyhealth.org
* The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center (FAC) is kicking off its newest exhibition today with an opening celebration and the public is invited! “NASA/Art: 50 Years of Exploration” officially opens Saturday but tonight, you can get a sneak peek. The exhibit features nearly five decades of art creations inspired by everything from NASA’s triumphs to tragedies. Tonight's kick-off party is from 5 to 7 p.m. at FAC, 30 W. Dale St. The cost is $5 for members, $15 for non-members.
