COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The 15th Annual Chile & Frijole Festival kicks off in downtown Pueblo this Friday, September 25 with a concert by the rock band Great White along the Riverwalk. Both Saturday and Sunday are filled with many events to celebrate the much-revered peppers and beans that give Pueblo its spot on the agricultural map.
Juls Bayci with the Pueblo Chamber of Commerce stopped by the FOX21 Morning News studios on Thursday to talk about some of the "big things" going on this weekend -- like the jalapeno eating contest and the chile roasting -- but she also prepared some dishes using recipes found in a cookbook that's been compiled from people who enter the Food Competition.
