COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The following are unofficial results from the first performance of the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Days, Wednesday, July 8, 2009.

Bareback Riding: 1) James Sursa (Bluebell, UT) 84 points on Matt Dillon; 2) Jerod Lee Johnston (Stephenville TX) 81 points on Badlands Bay; 3) Luke Creasy (Brownfield, AB) 77 points on High River; 4) Tyler Scales (White Water, CO) 74 points on Joy Stick.

Steer Wrestling: 1/2) Brad Johnson (Reva, SD) 4.2 seconds; 1/2) Dane Hanna (Starkville, MS) 4.2 seconds; 3/4) Darrell Petry (Beaumont, TX) 4.3 seconds; 3/4) Shawn Greenfield (Lakeview, OR) 4.3 seconds.  

Team Roping: 1) Garrett Tonozzi (Fruita, CO)/Kinney Harrell (Marshall, TX) 4.4 seconds; 2) Britt Williams (Hammond, MT)/Broc Cresta (Santa Rosa, CA) 4.5 seconds; 3/4) Steve Purcella (Hereford, TX)/Jhett Johnson (Casper, WY) 4.8 seconds; 3/4) Clay Tryan (Billings, MT)/Cory Petska (Lexington, OK) 4.8 seconds.

Saddle Bronc Riding: 1) Chuck Schmidt (Keldron, SD) 84 points on Dakota Girl; 2) Louie Brunson (Interior, SD) 78 points on Judge Judy; 3) Tyler Corrington (Guymon, OK) 77 points on Strike Fire; 4) Ty Atchison (Jackson, MO) 75 points on Ace of Spades.

Tie-Down Roping: 1) Clint Cooper (Decatur, TX) 8.1 seconds; 2) Matt Charles Kenney (Onawa, IA) 8.2 seconds; 3) Brett Livingston (Kinder, LA) 9.2 seconds; 4) Brian Garr (Grandview, TX) 11.8 seconds.

Girls’ Barrel Race: 1) Cindy Wheeler (Fredricksburg, TX) 17.48 seconds; 2) Sammi Bessert (Loma, CO) 17.51 seconds; 3) Shelley Morgan (Eustace, TX) 17.54 seconds; 4) Layna Kight (Willspoint, TX) 17.80 seconds.  

Bull Riding: 1) Clayton Folytn (El Campo, TX) 80 points on Lightning Strike; no other qualified rides.
