Arrests made in Cheyenne Mountain High School drug sales

Charged with possession of heroin, drugs and cash seized

On Friday, Dec. 19, 2008 Metro Vice, Narcotics and Intelligence (VNI) concluded an investigation into the distribution of a Schedule I controlled substance, heroin.

The execution of a search warrant at 4732 Dover Dr., Colorado Springs, and the subsequent arrest of Jonathan Stave concludes a month-long investigation into a group of individuals believed to be responsible for the distribution of heroin to Cheyenne Mountain High School students.

Also arrested during this investigation where Nathan Stack (DOB 1/25/90) and Kevin Stave (DOB 7/20/89), both former Cheyenne Mountain High School Students, James Petrakis (DOB 7/5/88) and two Mexican Nationals, one identified as Antonio Lopez-Pacheco (DOB 10/2/70), and a second juvenile male.

Approximately 25 grams of heroin, valued at $12,500, and $1,100 in cash were seized.

Detectives located a small quantity of heroin, as well as quantities of Schedule II and III prescription medications at the home on Dover Drive.

Jonathan Stave was arrested for Possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, heroin as well as illegal possession of Schedule II and III controlled prescription medications, consisting primarily of Methadone and Vicodin.

No additional arrests are anticipated.
