COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers arrested a wanted man who was set to face a life sentence before fleeing authorities earlier this year.

Officers went to the Lamplighter Mobile Home Park on South Academy Boulevard Wednesday afternoon to arrest Jeremy Gulcznski, but Gulcznski ran from them.

Officers send out an automated message to residents of the trailer park to tell them what was going on. They set up a perimeter and found Gulcznski hiding under a porch just a few feet away.

Gulcznski was wanted on four felony warrants and was facing a life sentence in prison. He has had violent tendencies in the past and had escaped Denver authorities.

He had been wanted since June.
