COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers are looking for two men accused of hitting another man with a gun, then firing it before leaving the area.

The 56-year-old victim told officers two men approached him near the Memorial Park Bath House on South Hancock Avenue around 7:34 p.m. Monday. One of them pulled out a gun and hit him with it.

The victim also said he heard them fire the gun, but he didn't know if they were shooting at him or not. Witnesses said the two men ran off but came back to get their gun, which they had dropped. Officers later found a shell casing.

The victim remains at a local hospital with a cut to the head, but officers said they expect him to be okay.

Officers did not get detailed descriptions of either man.
