COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers arrested four men early Monday morning on weapons charges after they fired a gun from a van.
Officers said 21-year-old Robert Holt, 26-year-old Patrick Gonzalez, 27-year-old Nick Gonzalez Jr. and 35-year-old Miguel Baerza were driving in a white van on Preuss Road and firing a gun into the air around 1:18 a.m.
Officers eventually pulled the men over near East Bijou Street and Arrawana Street and found the gun. They also recovered several shell casings on Preuss.
Holt will be charged with possession of weapons by a previous offender. Patrick faces prohibited use of weapons charges, Nick faces charges stemming from outstanding warrants and Baerza faces a DUI charge as well as a habitual traffic offender charge.
No one was hurt, and there was no damage.
