Man arrested in June sex assault case

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers have arrested a man on a sexual assault charge from June.

According to investigators, 24-year-old Nicholas Donovan sexually assaulted a woman while she was sleeping on June 4. Officers did not go into details about the actual assault but said he has a $100,000 bond.

Officers said a 27-year-old woman and her kids were living in a married couple's home temporarily while she was going through a divorce with her husband, who is in another state.

Donovan is accused of visiting the home, going to the area where the woman was sleeping and sexually assaulting her.
