Police say man sexually assaulted three girls over 10-year period

CANON CITY, COLO. -- Fremont County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting at least three girls over the past 10 years.

According to deputies, 48-year-old William Sabo has been investigated for a year before being arrested Tuesday evening in Canon City.

Sabo is charged with three counts of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust and one count of criminal attempt - sexual exploitation of a child.

Deputies did not say what Sabo's connection to the children is and did not release any other information about the incidents.
