Pedestrian hit and killed by car

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers are investigating a traffic crash that killed a pedestrian.  

The accident happened at 10 p.m. Sunday at Lower Gold Camp Road and 8th Street near the Walmart.

Officers questioned the driver of the car to determine the cause of the crash and said it appears the driver had the right of way.

The name of the victim has not been released as the investigation is still ongoing.
