Police: Body found in Colorado Springs is "suspicious"

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers are calling the death of a woman at an apartment complex "suspicious."

Family members called officers Friday morning asking them to check on a woman in the 1000 block of Cheyenne Villas Point. No one answered the door, and officers realized there had been a crime.

They found the woman dead inside.

Officers spent much of Friday collecting evidence and interviewing people, but they haven't released any other information.
