ELLICOTT, COLO. -- El Paso County Sheriff's deputies said two people are recovering after a "disturbance" left both with injuries Wednesday morning.
Deputies said they found a man and a woman in a home in the 23000 block of Wheat Street in Ellicott around 6:09 a.m. with significant injuries following what they are calling a "disturbance." Both were taken by helicopter to a hospital, where they went into surgery.
Both remain hospitalized Wednesday afternoon.
Deputies did not elaborate on the disturbance but said only two people were in the home at the time, and they did not say they were looking for anyone else.
