More Mountain Shadows residents allowed home Friday

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The City of Colorado Springs is allowing residents in 76 evacuated Mountain Shadows homes to return Friday at 5 p.m.

All Mountain Shadows residents who reside on the following streets may return home Friday at 5 p.m.

Wilson Road
Jenner Court
Brogans Bluff Drive
Karamy Court
Tamora Way
Ravina Court

Mountain Shadows residents who remain evacuated have been out of their homes for almost two weeks. Many of the areas that remain evacuated are streets where houses burned during the Waldo Canyon Fire June 26.  The fire, Colorado's most destructive ever, destroyed 346 homes.
