PUEBLO, COLO. -- Pueblo Police officers have arrested a sex offender for the third time this year, all for parole violations.

Julian Reyes, who was just released from prison this week for the third time in 10 months, was arrested for violating parole Monday.

The 52-year-old sexually violent predator did not last more than a week outside prison after any of his releases. Reyes suffers from mental disabilities.

He served his most recent sentence for a sexual assault conviction, and his prior criminal history includes first degree sexual assault, unlawful sexual assault, criminal mischief, child abuse/neglect, robbery and second degree burglary.
