FORT COLLINS, COLO. (AP) -- A moose seeking shelter in Fort Collins from a northern Colorado is back in the wild after it was tranquilized after swimming across Horsetooth Reservoir.

City officials say they are expecting more wild animals than usual because of the fire after the moose was captured on Sunday.

According to the Fort Collins Coloradoan, wildlife officials tranquilized the moose, blindfolded it and moved it to the northwest corner of Larimer County, away from the fire.
