BELLVUE, COLO. (AP) -- A new wildfire in Colorado is forcing some residents from their homes.

The fire was burning on about 30 acres Thursday about a mile northwest of the town of Lake George in Park County.

Residents within a mile of the fire have gotten warning calls.

No mandatory evacuation orders have been issued, but some people are leaving.

Authorities say the fire has the potential to spread because of heavy fuels.

In northern Colorado, some residents evacuated by a roughly 80-square-mile wildfire are being allowed back home. Fire officials say it is 15 to 20 percent contained. The fire has burned more than 100 structures, including at least 31 homes.

Gov. John Hickenlooper signed an executive order Thursday banning open burning and the private use of fireworks throughout Colorado.
