PUEBLO, COLO. -- Officials at Colorado State University - Pueblo have confirmed the school's network servers have been down since early Tuesday morning.
CSU-Pueblo students are in the middle of finals week and have not had access to network servers, forcing professors to evaluate the finals schedule on a case-by-case basis.
Officials said the school will not shift the academic calendar, but professors can reschedule their finals if they feel it is necessary.
One Pueblo student said server access is an important part of finals preparation at the school and isn't even available from his home computer.
The school has sent out three mass text alerts to students. The first came Tuesday morning informing students of the issue. The second came Tuesday night telling them the problem would be fixed by 8 a.m., and the third came Wednesday morning saying the problem was 65 percent fixed.
Officials said they had to order a part from Denver, which was delivered late Tuesday. A spokeswoman said as of 2 p.m. Wednesday the problem was still not resolved.
