COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers have arrested one boy and are looking for another in connection with a car theft and a break-in.
Officers were able to arrest a 17-year-old boy for trespassing after stopping him and another boy, who were walking in the 500 block of Fox Run Circle around 1:55 a.m. Tuesday.
During the initial stop, one of the boys ran from police, who had been in the area because of recent burglaries.
A car had been broken into in the area, and officers gathered enough evidence to charge the 17-year-old with first degree criminal trespass and another felony crime.
They also found a stolen car nearby. The investigation is ongoing.
