One caught, one loose after car break-ins

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers have arrested a woman and are search for a man in connection with several car burglaries in the city.

Officers got a call from a neighbor who lives in the area of Delmonico Drive and Rockrimmon Boulevard Tuesday saying there was a suspicious car driving up and down the street.

Officers pulled the car over near Academy Boulevard and Shrider Road and arrested 34-year-old Amy Avila for first degree criminal trespass and other charges in connection with several reported car burglaries in the Rockrimmon area.

The other person in the car, 31-year-old Paxton Daniels, ran from police and was able to get away. He is wanted for first degree criminal trespass.
