DENVER (AP) -- Forecasters are warning of blowing dust on Colorado's eastern plains.
An advisory is in effect until 4 p.m. Monday in areas including Sterling, Ft. Morgan, Akron, Limon and Colorado Springs. The warning area also includes Burlington, Pueblo, Springfield, Lamar, La Junta, and Las Animas.
Health officials say people with heart or lung disease, older adults, and the very young should reduce exertion while the warning is in effect.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for south central Colorado.
