COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers said they have arrested six people in the past week at Acacia Park after witnessing several narcotics purchases.
Officials said members of Metro VNI were able to make multiple drug purchases from several individuals in Acacia Park.
As a result, they searched one house on March 1 and seized 114.4 grams of refined marijuana, packaged for distribution, and $585 cash from the home.
They arrested two suspects that day.
On March 6, members of Metro VNI, TEU and DART located two additional suspects and arrested a third man for having two misdemeanor warrants.
One suspect had 1.4 grams of methamphetamine, packaged for distribution, and .9 grams of marijuana at the time of the arrest.
In all, the joint operation netted five felony distribution arrests and one misdemeanor arrest.
