Woman uses stolen checks, credit cards

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers are looking for a woman accused of identity theft.

Officers said they have obtained an arrest warrant for Alicia Ellis, who is wanted for identity theft in a string of five cases.

In all five cases, Ellis has allegedly passed a stolen check or credit card at a retail or financial business.

Ellis is a white woman about 5'6" and weighs about 140 pounds. She has brown eyes and blonde hair cut in a page boy-type style. She also has a large starfish tattoo on the right side of her neck.

Officers are asking anyone who knows where she may be to contact them at (719) 444-7000.
