FOUNTAIN, COLO. -- Fountain Police officers are on the hunt for a suspect accused of robbing a pharmacist at gunpoint Wednesday night.
Officers were sent to the Safeway store in the 6900 block of Mesa Ridge Parkway for an armed robbery report.
Officers said a man walked into the store and showed a pharmacist a pistol that was shoved down the front of his pants.
He demanded drugs and then fled the scene.
The suspect is being described as a white man about 5'10'' or 5'11'' tall weighing about 140 pounds.
He has blonde hair and was last seen wearing a short dark-colored jacket with white shoulders and sleeves. He was also wearing a dark colored baseball hat.
