COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Well, here we go again...more arctic air and more snow coming our way.

The last of a series of arctic air masses is set to move through Sunday night. This will be the coldest push of air since February. The National Weather Service in Pueblo has even issued a Wind Chill Advisory for part of the area due to the cold, where some locations could see wind chills below -20 degrees.

There will be some snow, especially starting Sunday night into the early morning hours on Monday. While snow totals will once again be light, I do anticipate 1-3 inches around town. The snow will be the light fluffy variety, so much of the snow that does fall may just drift around anyway.

Roads will be slick for the Monday morning commute with the heaviest snow in the higher elevations and south of Pueblo. The cold, arctic air continues to filter in with the strong northerly winds, which will keep wind chills below 0 all day long. Needless to say, it will be very cold. Keep in mind, a few snow flurries (very light) will be possible throughout the day, but it won't amount to much in accumulation.

Monday night, we clear out and winds begin to subside. Temperatures will plunge. Right now, I am forecasting lows -5 to -10 degrees, but if winds stay light enough, it could even be colder. Either way, it will be very cold.

There will be some recovery by Tuesday, but westerly winds on Wednesday will finally help push temperatures above freezing. Be prepared for some extremely cold weather with light accumulation snow overnight Sunday.
