TRINIDAD, COLO. -- Trinidad Police officers are looking for two men who were with an intruder who was shot and killed Saturday morning.
Officals said 24-year-old Rory David Rodriguez of Denver was killed by an unnamed resident.
They said the resident told them he was sleeping in a bedroom when he heard a knock at the front door, followed by the sound of the door being forced open.
Investigators said the resident then fired a shot from a handgun through the bedroom door, hitting Rodriquez in the head.
Rodriguez was later found in the home's front yard.
Police are now looking for two men who they believe were with Rodriguez.
They are 21-year-old Alejandro Antonio Rodriguez and 21-year-old Mario Dean Chavez.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
