COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Highway 115 has reopened following a deadly accident Saturday afternoon.
It happened around 4:30 p.m. about a mile south of Fort Carson's main gate.
Troopers with Colorado State Patrol said two cars collided head-on killing one person.
They said Flight for Life was called in, and transported several others to the hospital.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
The highway was closed for about 45 minutes while crews investigated.
