Mayor Bach heading to Washington

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Mayor Steve Bach is heading to the nation's capitol this week.

Mayor Bach is traveling to Washington D.C. to lead a delegation from the Springs in order to try and foster relationships and showcase the city to federal officials.

Among the mayor's many meetings, he is scheduled to visit with the National League of Cities, Senator Michael Bennett, Senator Mark Udall, and others.

The city will be paying for the mayor's trip.
