PUEBLO, COLO. -- Colorado State University Pueblo has a new president.

Lesley DiMare, the interim president of Nevada State College, has been elected.

She will become the first permanent female president in the university's history.

The post has been vacant since Joe Garcia was elected Colorado's lieutenant governor.

DiMare is CSU Pueblo's sixth president in the past decade.
